VERY RARE 'ANNE OF GREEN GABLES' FIRST IMPRESSION, APRIL 1908

Bound in the original vertical grained chocolate coloured cloth. Gilt lettering on the spine and front board. Eight illustrations including frontis by M.A. And W.A.J. Claus. Illustration of women in profile tipped onto front board. Corners have some minor bumping. Foredge and bottom edge untrimmed. Text very clean with almost no staining or foxing present. Front paste down illustration has a bit of uneven fading but is far superior to most copies. Overall a very nice copy.
