Donald Adam Cadzow  worked in Alberta and Saskatchewan from the late 1870's - late 1920's.  Largely known for 'outdoor" images of First Nations people and views of NWMP Forts, he also produced studio portraits. Member of the Explorers Club, considered an authority on North American Indians, particularly as concerns the Indians of the Northwest. His extensive and intensive expeditions into Northern Alaska, along the rivers Crow, Porcupine, Peace, Sucker, Slave and Great Slave, his exploits in the upper Rockies and the Mackenzie Delta, brought him in touch with many unique peoples and experiences
