A few spots of light staining along top edge (mainly clustered in the top left corner). Small closed tear near middle of bottom edge. Writing along bottom edge includes title and "Ent. Acc. To Act of Parl. Canada. Year 1904 by WM Notman and Son by the Dept of Agriculture".

The Banff Springs Hotel is a luxury hotel that was built during the 19th century as one of Canada's grand railway hotels, being constructed in Scottish Baronial style and located in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.
William Notman (1826-1891) made his eldest son, William McFarlane Notman (1857-1913), a partner in his photography studio in about 1882. The name of the studio was then changed to Wm. Notman & Son.
