Ross, A. J. Bull Head

[Original Albumen Photograph]. Calgary: Ross Photographers, [circa 1887]. Near fine. Original albumen photograph measuring 9.25 X 6.75" (23.5 X 17.15 CM) mounted on album page. Framed in 1" gilt and black archival conservation frame measuring 15 X 12.5" (38 X 31.75 cm). Tru Vue UV protectant glass. Beige matting. A few small marks on photograph as well as some imperfections caused during printing. There also appears to be a small stain to top right corner with a few smaller markings to the left of if- else in excellent condition.

A bold head and shoulder studio portrait of a Native Man who stares stoically out (though only one eye appears to open). He wears a black hat with feather decoration atop shoulder length hair. His clothing is beautifully decorated with fur, feathers and designs.
