36" x 24" (91 x 61 cm). Original CP Ships Poster. No date. In very good condition with only minor wrinkling. Very light discoloration and wear around edges. Small chip to the right top corner which was repaired.

 

A visually interesting poster depicting colourfully illustrated characters filling a ship which spans the distance between Canada and England. 'The Empress of Canada' CP Ship depicted was launched in 1960 (the third of its name) and traversed the Atlantic going from Canada to Liverpool for over a decade.

Not represented in Choko and Jones 'Posters of the Canadian Pacific' 2nd edition.

36" x 24" (91 x 61 cm). Original. Very minor wear and wrinkling with slight yellowing. Six marks from where the glue from tape on the back wore through (3 on the top and 3 on the bottom about 1 1/4" x 1/2" each). An interesting poster in very good condition.

 

A colourful and strong graphic showing a small realistic illustration of the CP-Cominco Pavilion at Expo 67 in Montreal as well as a larger, more abstract and colourful version of one of the structures.

A depiction of a happy couple by an artist  noted for dynamic designs and illustrations in eye-catching posters that inspired the imagination. During the 1940's and 1950's Ewart became one of Canadian Pacific's major artistic contributors.
