Winnipeg, Manitoba: F. V. Bingham, [circa 1883]. Good to very good. Original albumen photograph measuring 10.5 X 18.25 cm. Affixed to studio card (12.5 X 20 cm). Rubbing, soiling and wear to photograph and card. Wear to the edges of card. Card also is slightly rippled.

 "Photographic Views Along the Line of the Canadian Pacific Railway". This card identifies Bingham and Thom as the Official photographers of the CPR. Bingham formed a brief partnership with another itinerant photographer, A. B. Thom, around May 1883 and they travelled along the CPR line, advertising a catalogue of images taken from “Port Arthur to the Rockies.”. By 1886 the partnership had dissolved.
